We called beforehand and was told that it is not members only or anything like that. Tried to find the place, realized it was tucked inside the CBD store. It was locked, and the man outside was talking with his friends from the nearby barber shop (nothing against them, they were cute), and he told my friend, "go around the building, down the alley way, and then there's a Starbucks". Mind you, the Google directions took us to the back of the building and that's when we had trouble finding the place. We just wanted to smoke hookah and chill, y'all. We were really excited to try this place out, but then it was locked at 8 PM on a Saturday when it says open, and a man (bouncer maybe?) outside cracking a joke about us girls going to Starbucks. Wouldn't recommend when it's clearly closed to certain people - members only?

I LOVE ❤️ The Phoenix Den ATX. I enjoyed the speakeasy feel to the location, tasty drinks, and phenomenal service. Its a chill location with an intimate vibe. A must visit for my cannafam in and around Austin.

I performed here recently and I must say the vibe was dope. If you are wanting to chill, relax smoke hookah while sipping. Go enjoy The Phoenix Den maybe you will catch me there.

This spot is definitely a hidden gem!! I love a good speakeasy situation!! I appreciated how personable the staff were. The bartender’s were quick to take orders and the drinks were mixed well. The DJ was definitely curating the vibe for the night. I also loved the fact that they had food available, seems like they partnered up with a local business. The , food tasted like it came from my grandmothers kitchen- cooked with love. The hookahs were definitely on point, I love how they had a variety of flavors to chose from. The hookahs were smooth and not harsh like a lot of others I have tried in the past. I am definitely going back and bringing more and more friends to this dope space

Great VIBE and clean atmosphere!!! If you’re looking for drama free place to listen to some good music with live DJ’s and smoke a variety of delicious flavors this hookah lounge is the spot. To wind down or have some laughs at Comedy nights on Wednesdays, you must stop in and check it out! I can’t say enough about this place!!! You can tell this place was built with lots of love, these guys it’s more than just a hookah lounge it’s a passion and it shows.
