Juliana was our server at this awesome restaurant and hookah bar. Let’s talk food first, we had the Persian style pizza ($27) and their combination kabab plate ($47). Either was more than enough food for two, and absolutely outstanding. The meat was well cooked, moist, and perfectly seasoned. The side off hummus, salad, roasted tomato, and taziki with hot sauce were perfect to break up the deep flavors for the meat dishes. As for the pizza, they nailed it fresh, wish great toppings, good depth of flavor, and a crispy crust. 10/10 For drinks we had their milkshakes (the strawberry was great) and the famous mint lemonade - fresh, tasty, and great even if you are not familiar with the flavor profile. They have a broad selection of teas, and a few coffee drinks, that I’m looking forward to checking out. Now for the hookah. Our dedicated server for hookah was named Shaggy, and he made a 10/10 traditional Al fakher mint hookah. Care was in both packing, presentation, and keeping coals hot. They use slightly shorter than full size Khalil mamoon hookahs, which did lead to it getting a bit hotter than I like, but they were great about cooling it down, and offer ice hoses as an optional add on that I would recommend for any hookah novices. Between the food, great hookah, and exceptionally attentive service from Juliana, we wound up staying for 3 plus hours. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with no rushing, but very fast food, drink, and shisha delivery. All in all, having been to a few other bars in San Antonio, I can confidently say this is the best it’s going to get in the city. I’ll be back tomorrow for a follow up review with the day staff to just make sure, but I don’t think it will be a chore - I’m looking forward to coming back!

Naara is one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants in San Antonio. In business for a long time, Naara offers a wide variety of Mediterranean food, keeping the out authenticity of the flavors in every plate. The food selection is large. I would recommend you to look at their menu, but my favorite is the chicken shawarma plate. Every time I come here this is my selection. They also have pizza and they are very well known for having one of the best pizzas in town. With fresh ingredients, their food is just amazing. You will enjoy it as much as me. If you love, hookah, they have hookah service and you can enjoy it in the big patio they have. If you’re looking for something more quiet, they have an indoor dining room and you can see there’s always a students here doing homework or research and enjoying their hookah. They are located on I 10 and Wurzbach, and they have a large parking lot, you will also find in the same location a very popular Mediterranean market call Alibaba where you can find all kind of Mediterranean food and ingredients I hope you enjoy Naara as much as I do.
Very disappointing experience. The burger was extremely dry, and the meat burned smelled rancid and tasted anything but fresh. It looked like one of those thick pre made frozen patties with no flavor at all except an unpleasant smell and aftertaste. 🤢 The burger was practically inedible because of how bad it tasted. We ended up throwing the food away, which was very frustrating after paying over $33 for the meal. Also we asked no cheese and we ended up with it!! Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend it based on our experience.🤮
Had an amazing experience at Naara cafe in San Antonio. The vibe was great, the staff was super friendly and attentive, always checking in to see if we needed anything. The food quality and hooka werw excellent, and they even served us complimentary ice cream as a welcome gesture. A special thanks to Reza, the owner, who personally came by, introduced himself, and made sure everything was perfect. Such a warm, welcoming place with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!
