Came this Thursday to Shisha to catch up with a friend. I used to come here after high school in 2010 until I moved to Michigan around 2014. I loved this place then and I still love it today. It’s been a while since I’ve returned after moving back in 2021, but the nostalgia, food/hookah, and service did not disappoint. Heila was attentive to us checking in frequently and the family kebab plate, falafel, hummus, and fries hit the spot after a long week at the office. Cannot wait to go again and will bring my appetite again. Highly recommend and truly believe there is no better place for hookah and Mediterranean food in San Antonio.

The best falafel I’ve ever had. The outside is crispy and the inside is moist. The naan is also 🔥. Islam is super sweet (check her out on their Instagram page!). She’s very attentive and friendly. The vibe here is super chill. You can eat, watch the game, play cards, smoke hookah or just relax. Everyone is friendly and minding their business. I love this place!

I’ve been coming here for over 13 years and this used to be one of my favorite spots. The food quality was always consistent, portions were generous, and prices felt fair for what you got. Over the years though, it’s been disappointing to see the prices nearly double while portions seem to keep shrinking and the ridiculous charges for the sauces for the amount they actually give you. The biggest thing I noticed recently was the chicken shish kebabs, they honestly looked about half the size they used to be. The food is still decent, which is why I’ve continued coming back, but longtime customers definitely notice the changes. I hope management takes the feedback seriously because this place used to stand out for both quality and value.

I got the chicken shawarma with a side of fries and everything was so so flavorful! The portions were SO GOOD, I have leftovers. It was my first time trying and I definitely will be back! My new fav spot!

We had such a great time at Shisha Cafe. Everything about the visit felt relaxed and welcoming, which made it really easy to just sit back and enjoy ourselves. We ordered the orange mint shisha, and it was honestly excellent—smooth, flavorful, and not overwhelming at all. Definitely one of those flavors you keep coming back to during the night. The food was a highlight too. The family platter was perfect for sharing and had a really nice variety, and the shawarma Arabi was fresh, warm, and full of flavor. You could tell care was put into how everything was prepared. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our waitress Eslam was kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of without rushing us or hovering. It made the whole experience wonderful.
