If you’re looking for a hookah lounge that truly stands out, High Desert is it. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome that immediately makes you feel at home. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elevated. It’s intimate enough to bring your laptop, get some work done, enjoy an incredible cup of tea, and relax with a hookah, yet spacious enough to accommodate groups with booths of various sizes for every occasion. What really sets High Desert apart is the staff. The managers and team are genuinely some of the kindest and most attentive people I’ve met. They consistently check in, make sure you’re taken care of, and go above and beyond to create an exceptional experience for every guest. One of my favorite features is the upstairs lounge. It’s tucked away toward the back, making it a more private space to unwind. With comfortable couches, a TV, and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to kick your feet up, catch a game, enjoy great conversation, and smoke hookah. The music is another highlight. They regularly bring in DJs who create an amazing vibe, playing everything from Spanish Afro House and hip-hop to a variety of other genres. Every time I’ve been there, the music has added so much to the overall experience. Whether you’re looking for a productive place to work during the day, a comfortable spot to catch up with friends, or a lounge with great music and an even better atmosphere, High Desert delivers. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and introducing more of my friends to this hidden gem.

One of the best hookah lounges in LA. Dimitry is the man. Best customer service. Hookahs last a long time and are always packed well. Laid back relaxing atmosphere with good music. Great place to come do work, chill with friends or for a date night. They also offer soft drinks and snacks. Hella comfortable seats. I feel at home here. They also have play station games in the second floor. It’s a bit pricey but def worth it. Don’t let the street scare u off. Very high end place through the door. I’ve parked on the streets, never had an issue. There’s also parking lots close by. 110% recommended.

Amazing experience from start to finish! 🔥 The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly, professional, and attentive. They have a really impressive variety of hookahs and some very unique flavors that you don’t usually find elsewhere. The hookahs themselves look beautiful and are presented very nicely, which makes the whole experience feel special. The quality, flavor, smoke, and overall presentation were all on point. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy a hookah, and spend time with friends. Definitely one of the better hookah spots I’ve been to, and I’ll definitely be coming back! 💨🔥 Highly recommended!

I always have an incredible experience at High Desert, the hookah is always so good and lasts, they are experts! The atmosphere is great to hang or get work done. I also love the tea selection. My go-to spot in LA!
