Selection has really improved over the years, you will 100% find something you like. I really enjoy their house brand maduro 6 x 60, burns really cool and has a great chocolate note (can have a wavy burn line sometimes). Great ventilation as they have fans that you can turn on embedded into the wall itself. Wish they were open later! Has outdoor seating on the porch and more in the yard area as well. I find myself coming back every so often. They do have a $5.00 charge to smoke there, which is okay given they price their house stick well. Been many times over the years, and only once did I have a rude staff member. I think its the best lounge in Sacramento all points considered. It's BYOB as most small lounges are, if you want the swanky experience you can go to Sky River, but you'll pay through the nose. My fave lounge is Wild Bills in Valley Springs, but that's a major commute. I find myself coming to Casillas, or going to Argileh Hookah (and buying a cigar there and smoking my own). Argileh is open late night weekday and weekend, but isn't really a cigar lounge, so more of just a place to smoke. Casillas is the big winner here in Sac. Hatueys is nextdoor, but they ONLY have their house brand, and I feel have sub-par ventilation. Nicer ambiance, I'll take people there that are more bougie, but real brothers of the leaf will prefer Casillas.

I had a flight in a few hours. Decided to stop by to smoke a cigar. Went in THEIR humidor and bought one of THEIR cigars. Got to counter and was told I should pay $5 to smoke it there. So we charging patrons of the business to patronize the business? How does that make sense??!!!

Cozy environment, very comfortable. My first time at this establishment great experience. Brought my friend for her first time smoking cigars, fun experience overall. Would return

I give my experience a so so, the cigar tender was nothing at all informative. Unfortunately, Nate, the owner, was not there. Umm, the smoke room was DIRTY, ashtrays were full , and 3 cigar butts on the floor with ashes. Going back to the associate, he definitely did not give me any information on who or how Casillas was founded, what cigars are the house brand, and what notes or strengths he has in stock. Very Disappointing will hopefully go back.
