He really takes his time to cover all basis and make sur4e that everyone understands the topic being discussed. Doc and Rainey make an excellent team helping each individual personally with any questions they may have as well as any hands on training. Amazing people and a great class to attend!!!

Doc is an amazing teacher. He informs you what to do and what not to do. He shows genuine interest in each student and is patient with them as they learn. His classes leave you confident that you can protect yourself. Give yourself the gift or share the gift of self-defense with those you love so that you can know they are safe.

Great learning experience! "Doc" is a knowledgeable instructor and provides a very safe atmosphere for learning and hands on training. Very relaxed, well ran course. Keep up the good work!

The class had a lot of good information and was very detail on the laws. Doc was very professional and answered any question that he could . I would recommend this class to anyone looking to get there concealed license or any help you may need

Very informative & I felt extremely comfortable during the class. I usually find these types of classes to be intimidating but that wasn’t the case with Smoking Pirates. I highly recommend Smoking Pirate to those interested in taking a concealed carry class.
