I don't like shopping at these type stores. Too junkie for me. However, they did have exactly what I was looking for at the price I was looking for. Forg how cheap that are. Love it. Telling It Like It IS 👍👍 TerryB 🤓

Always have super sweet staff for the most part and friendly. Have yet to see any cash only signs even when traffic is high and in overflow. Yall are greatly appreciated. Keep rocking retail.

While in Baton Rouge today for an appointment I stopped in to purchase some items I needed. I was greeted with friendly faces and great attitudes. This may sound dramatic but THIS IS LITERALLY THE CLEANEST AND MOST WELL STOCKED DOLLAR GENERAL THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN IN and in my 56 years I’ve been in plenty Dollar General stores. I had exchanged a few kind words with one of the employees upon entering the store. Once I finished shopping I set out to find the store manager and there she was helping another employee stock the shelves. It was Patrice the manager, the same kind lady I had spoken to earlier. I said “I want to let you know that this is absolutely the cleanest most well stocked Dollar General I’ve ever been in!!” She said “thank you very much I appreciate it.” A clean, well stocked store with kind and caring employees with great customer service and good attitudes is definitely a rare find these days. When I left there I thought “whoever is over this store needs to know what a fantastic job their staff is doing and I’m going to make sure they hear it from me!!” Hats off to all of the ladies I came into contact with today. Your commitment to great customer service and all of your hard work is not going unnoticed!! May God bless each of you and your families ❤️

Staff is extremely rude. Ask to use the bathroom before purchasing my items. The woman gave me a dirty look and in a snarky voice said around the corner. Went to the bathroom and it was locked, which she knew. I went back and she said, “what is it locked,” and then went on to state, “why didn’t you tell me.” …. How am I supposed to know a door is locked before I get to it? Also, if you do not understand that you work in customer service you should not work in customer service. I would give this store less than 1 star if possible.

The manager is great and everything goes smoothly when you go and she is there. Now when she isn't there the other staff is very unprofessional and very very slow. They show no want to actually work. I feel bad for giving this store a one star because how good the manager is, but it's how the other employees act is the reason for giving them a 1 star review.
