Personally, this place is overpriced. A disposable vape pen is 40$ and I can buy the same one online for half the price. I went in there for a different brand and the cashier was going to charge me $70 for it. Absolutely not.

Been going here for months, always $20-$30 for a geek bar, which is already over priced, but was decent enough for the area. Just left the store and was charged $40 for a single disposable vape. Which is readily available for $15.99 online retail and regularly sold $20 at other vape stores nearby. Absolutely insane. Item did not ring up at register, was rung up as “custom item”. Meaning these prices are subject to whomever is at the register. Will not be returning.

If you dont feel like reading long story short they are stealing your money by shorting the bags yet charging high prices per gram and eights. Now details, I have been using this shop for just over a year now. Their bud prices have always been high ranging from 10-15 per gram with NO discount for bulk buying. Want 14 grams, well 14 times 15 plus tax is what ya pay. What prompted this review however, is that in the past few months smoke time has CONSISTENTLY shorted the amount of grams they put in the baggies. They pre-weigh the bags so YOU DONT SEE WHAT YOURE PAYING FOR, and i've witnessed in the past they add the weight of the bag to the amount of grams advertised, for example if you get a gram you may really be getting 0.7 with the weight of the baggie making the full gram. TODAY however Oct 1 2024, i purchased two 3.5 gram bags. Knowing they tend to short these bags i weigh both to find that each bag is 2.6 and 2.7 grams respectively. These bags are advertised as $35 an eighth, $12 a gram. Had I simply purcahsed 2.5 grams (@ 12 per gram), I would have paid $30. So in fact in this one purchse not only did they ROB me of $5 (really $10 cause i bought 2 bags) but they are falsely advertising to the public as they intentionally short the bags then knock off a couple bucks off full price so the customer feels like they're getting a deal. When in fact they are paying for way more than what they actually receive. I am not exaggerating when i say this is way past the 10th time i have been shorted by this store. I brought it up to the workers even! And more to it the quality of the bud isnt consistent, sometimes its really good sometimes its meh yet the high prices remain. You operate in a lower to mid income area where you own the only 2 smoke shops within walking distance of the immediate communities. Because of this you benefit from a lack of competition. Though loyal by default, not service or price, your customers are loyal nonetheless and you reward this by lying, falsely advertising and exploiting the hardworking people of Essex. You dont deserve our money, and my household will no longer be patrons of your scheming business.

Told me they dont take change. All quarters and $2 at that. Over priced. Selling cbd like its weed. Be aware!!

Excellent smoke shop! Great product selection, knowledgeable staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Reasonable prices and fantastic customer service. Highly recommend!!
