The jewel of Michigan cigar spots. I had heard about Chaloner’s for a few months and decided to drive 90 mins round trip to experience it for myself. Good lord, what a great place! The humidor is highly curated, and the shop is full of cool merch, accessories, and candy too. Upstairs, the lounge is spectacular. Top of the line appointments, wonderful view out the windows, and it’s just a great hang- high ceilings, full bar with mixology level cocktails, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I paid a fee to go up the the top floor members lounge, and that place was superb- pool table, good menu of appetizers, just a great place all around. You can really tell it was designed for the discerning cigar aficionado. Also there’s a great coffee shop next door. Top marks, and very highly recommended, even if you have to drive a bit.

Entire experience was top notch, great drinks, great music, great cigars, great service, great atmosphere. We stopped in the see Marcus and Tiffany for music, we were blown away by the venue, it’s gorgeous. Alex one of the waitstaff showed us around and took us on the different levels. She explained everything so thoroughly regarding membership and renting the venue, even shared a bit of history regarding the building. She was so passionate, energetic and personable it was the perfect conclusion to our night. We will definitely be back! I wished I would’ve snapped some photos because it really is breathtaking.

It is speakeasy style with cigars. Very classy. 3 floors to choose from. We ate on the second floor and visited more in the atrium on the 3rd floor. Compared to another cigar bar I recently visited, I was happy that the cigar smoke wasn't overpowering. A bit pricey but worth the experience. The drinks were amazing and the smoked salmon platter was awesome! Definitely worth a visit!

I have been smoking cigars for many years, and have been to most cigar bars within a reasonable distance of Ann Arbor. This is the greatest one, no questions! Alex was a friendly, patient, positive, and hospitable host. Her service was genuinely appreciated. Can't believe I didn't come here sooner. After a stressful week of business and relationships, Chaloner's is just exceptional. A community staple. We will certainly be back. :)
