I paid $200 for a bong from this shop, and after only two uses, a fracture appeared at the welded joint where the angled downstem connects to the body. The piece was not dropped, bumped, or mishandled in any way. The damage is consistent with a stress fracture at a known high-pressure weld point, not impact damage. The manager, we talked to seemed highly inconvenienced that we came in about the piece; after telling us to do so over the phone. She also confidently stated that this was an impossible thing to occur by itself stating “glass just doesn’t disappear”. After talking an actual professional who specializes in glass work I was told that this fracture is at the welded joint, a known high-stress area. Thin glass at this point can crack under normal use, and the iridescent coating makes early fractures hard to see. When I returned to the shop, I was told there was nothing that could be done and that there was no way to know whether it happened in-store or at home. For a $200 glass piece to fail after two uses with no support offered was extremely disappointing. I’m sharing this so other buyers know what they may be getting them selves in when shopping at this store. I’ll be including a picture of the piece and you all can be the judge on if this looks like a typical fractured piece from user error or a manufacturer one.

The employees kept asking if that was it after every item I told them in my $70 order and I would have kept buying stuff if I wasn't so put off. Happens every time I come here every few months. That's why I just go to the internet for this stuff.

Wow! This is a very cool glass shop, and the prices are right. We went in to some stuff we had forgotten, but would have liked to spend more time doing a real shopping. Amazing selection and amazing prices.
