⭐ Poor Experience at Moxie Ultra Lounge This was my first time going to Moxie Ultra Lounge, and unfortunately, it will probably be my last. I arrived to celebrate my cousin’s 55th birthday. My cousin, who had the reservation, had not arrived yet, so I told the host I would go to the bar and have a drink while I waited. She said that would be fine. I went to the bar, ordered a drink, and was sitting there sipping it. Mind you, it was only 9:52 PM when the same host approached me and asked if I had sandals in my car. I said no. She then told me that heels and/or sandals were required and that Moxie strictly enforces its dress code, meaning I would have to leave because of the shoes I was wearing. She then looked at her cell phone and said, “Oh, you got a little time. Go.” I was honestly shocked because I had no idea about this strict dress-code policy. I thought I looked great that night and received several compliments on my outfit. People around me couldn’t believe I was being asked to leave over my shoes. To make matters worse, I am dealing with a foot/ankle injury, which is why I was wearing a tennis shoe. I was told that women cannot wear tennis shoes, while men apparently can. That felt very unfair and discriminatory. What really bothered me was the inconsistency. If the concern is truly about maintaining a certain standard or safety, I saw quite a few shoes that, in my opinion, looked much cheaper and could potentially present more of a safety issue than the shoes I was wearing. I ultimately left at approximately 11:02 PM. Before leaving, I asked to speak with a manager because I wanted clarification about the situation. The manager came over and explained the dress-code rules. He also told me that he worked for Moxie Ultra Lounge and that the woman who initially approached me was a promotional representative, not a host. That made the situation even more confusing because, from the beginning, she was the person who allowed me to go to the bar while I waited and then approached me about the dress code. For a first-time guest coming to celebrate a family member’s milestone birthday, this was a very disappointing experience. If there is a strict dress code, guests should be made clearly aware of it before they arrive or before they spend money at the establishment. Unfortunately, my first experience at Moxie Ultra Lounge left a very bad impression. I expected to celebrate with my family and enjoy the evening, but instead I spent part of the night feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. Definitely not the experience I expected for my first visit.

WTH. Bruh. You live and you learn. $200 min. Service is slow. Because the service is slow, we went to the bar the get drinks. The bartender threatened us saying we would lose our table 🙄 like honey I would not be at the bar if the server ever came to the table. DJ Joe bear needs some assistance with transitions. Randomly at 2:23 he stops all hip hop and says only R&B until 3am. Probably won’t be back.
Wow! For my first experience @ Moxie Ultra Lounge, I was more than impressed with the ambiance, drinks and especially the food! Kudos to the chef for the flavorful grilled lamb chops, chicken kebab with white rice, buffalo wings and the elote tacos! A close friend of mine Reuben D' Silva introduced me to this lounge and the owner & his son greeted me at the door with open arms. Shout-out to the DJ for the music vibes ranging from Luther Vandross to TLC to Lil Wayne to the Ying Yang Twins. If you're looking for a spot for your friends 21+ come check out this lounge and do yourself a favor and try out the food!
Vibe is always great here, dropped in on a Wed night with family in town. It was R&B night so the music was great. I had two Venus Fly Trap martinis and they were super tasty!!
Great vibes and ambience. 2000-2010s rap and hip hop. Great spot off the strip that doesn’t tax on drinks and hookah. Has a rooftop with a view of the city.
