had a really bizarre experience here. the owner, troy is aggressive and intimidating towards customers. he seemed fine but a little pushy when he asked my friends and i to come in, telling us he was the only black owned spot on the street, so we decided to support, bad decision. once we got in, he seemed very irritated with us asking questions, but they don’t list all their prices on the menu and options were super limited. he brought out the drinks and hookah, which he made himself, everyone’s drink tasted awful, my friends thought that the hookah tasted chemical-like, once we started to point out the issues he got increasingly irritable, and started ignoring us. we decided to leave after being ignored several times, mind you, only 3 of us got alcohol the other 2 got sodas. no one had taken more than a sip. he refused to give a receipt and told us to give him $40 and leave. he’s a bad vibe, the place is dark and creepy, i would never come back here, but he’s suggest that you don’t go, especially if you are a woman and you’re with other women friends. there’s a reason this spot is empty

So disappointing! The manager swindled us to come in with the price of purchasing a bottle and hookah. He came off very personable but was the only staff in at the time. The first red flag was the cups were filthy so I had to ask him to rewash them. As we got the bottle and chaser, (cranberry juice). As I poured my first drink, I soon realized there was a ROACH In my drink! I let him know and he said he didn’t even want to see it and then proceeded to tell me it was a fruit fly from the limes. I purchased a bottle of Hennessy with a chaser of cranberry juice ( no limes). He did not offer any compensation. As time continued we realize in another cup there was a bunch of mysterious particles floating around in chunks in our other drinks, which came from the cranberry juice carafe. Once we shined a light in the carafe, there was so many things floating around in it. Once I brought it to his attention, he then again made the excuse of it being the cranberry juice and proceeded to collect payment for the bottle. he promoted his self and the place being black Owned business which was a huge disappointment being a black woman. There was no accountability no accommodations overall disgusted. there is a reason why this place is empty.

Bouncer tried to charge my friend and I $40 each to get in and when we started to walk away, he lowered it to $20 each. The drinks were mid and charged us $20 each with no receipt to show for it. My friend handed the bartender $40 for our drinks and he demanded a tip stating “This is for the drinks..what about the tip?” Then asked 3 more times and just made us feel uncomfortable. I would never come back!
