I ONLY PUT 5 STARS SO MY REVIEW COULD BE AT THE TOP ! READ READ READ🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 I was incredibly let down by my visit to Melody Lounge. It’s clear this is a common practice—without even asking if we were ready, they just handed us the tab and told us we had to leave, or we’d need to buy a bottle to stay. It didn’t matter that we had a group of seven and wanted to buy more drinks—we were forced out. Only after me arguing and going back-and-forth with two men and explaining how I found that this was super disrespectful and we were a group of seven ready to stay was when they try to accommodate us by putting us on the middle of the dance floor with a chair that only fits three people Max and the rest of us would have had to be standing just because he wants to put a different group of people in our spot. I’ve been here multiple times I even know a friendly habibi there who never kicked me out before. I been here multiple times and never had this happen I guess I should’ve read the reviews—usually, we stay all night and enjoy ourselves. It’s such a shame because we were bringing a great vibe, trying to have a good time, and ended up having our night cut short for no reason other than them wanting to rotate in new customers. The way it was handled felt rushed, transactional, and honestly extremely disrespectful. Definitely not the experience I expected, since I used to come here all the time, but I will make sure to let everyone know to AVOID this place at all costs. It sucks because I really have brought so much business to this location. I’ve been coming here for years and they have the audacity to try and kick us out just to rotate customers when we’ve been here for the last couple hours and we were not done drinking not done partying and not done buying drinks. They just handed us a tab and made us leave super super super disrespectful. RUN AWAY AND SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE !

I don’t know how they’re still in business. Reserved a table for the world cup game and as soon as me and my friend got there and the game started, the owner was drunk and telling us to leave our table. He was yelling in my face and lowkey pushed me. I will never be spoke to like that or disrespected by any establishment. This place is lucky it probably only gets desperate people trying to watch the match. Horrible place horrible energy drunken fighting staff. AVOID

I disagree objectively. African-American with open weekends. My experience remain above average, depending on the day of your visit - I’d recommend Saturday & Sunday night majorly. I do bottles so I wouldn’t know complaints from a regular guest. I would pick Melody over Vybz in the same axis and ‘m cool with both owners.

If you want to chill spot to go hang out with your friends, this is the spot to go. The music is always good. The food is always good and the service is spot on. Definitely gets crowded on weekends so I would say reserve a table and order a bottle or two with your friends. The prices are good as well. It’s definitely my to go place on a weekend.

Let me in for free for a world cup game. Waited for me to sit for around 30 minutes and the game to start to tell me I needed to pay 40 per person to stay. I could've just went somewhere else had they informed me upon entry, by the time I left all other locations were packed as the game had began. Really poor management I don't recommend.
