I recently visited Houston’s Lounge for the first time and was initially impressed by its stylish ambiance and decor. However, my experience quickly soured due to the intoxicated, aggressive behavior of one male co-owner and the negligence of a second, female co-owner. The male, visibly impaired, approached me and demanded I move open seating tables to accommodate other guests, repeatedly asserting, “I’m the owner.” At first, I assumed he was just a random intoxicated stranger trying to punk and my friend out of a space. When I did not immediately comply, he became confrontational, invading my personal space and escalating the situation. Weak security too. My ID was never checked upon entry, and I noticed the same was true for several others. Huge liability, An intoxicated, volatile owner who physically intimidates guests, creates a hostile environment. No one should feel threatened or unsafe in a place meant for relaxation and socializing. While the lounge itself is well-designed, the owners’ behavior and the establishment’s negligence are major red flags. The male co-owner’s willingness to physically intimidate patrons, and the female co-owner’s indifference when I explained the situation. Her response—a dismissive shrug—showed no concern for the well-being of guests. For my own safety and peace of mind, I will not be returning to Houston’s Lounge. I strongly advise others to think carefully before supporting an establishment where the owners’ conduct is so reckless and unchecked.

This is a cool lounge/bar downtown with a great vibe. You can get hookah here, if that's your thing. The music can get pretty loud, so come ready for that energy, but it definitely adds to the atmosphere. Staff is friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Solid spot to chill with friends and unwind.

Came on theLast night of May the bartender with pigtails did a fine job,, HOWEVER! I was just chilling underneath the red light drinking my beer and suddenly a drunk light skin girl came and wouldn't leave me alone, she then SNATCHED my beer in front of everyone and pulled me off the seat and dragged me outside with her, security did nothing and everyone just laughed 🧐😑

Music playing so loud that you can't enjoy any other place on the block. A terrible business that straight up doesn't belong here. If they moved to a different location with 0 neighbors maybe they'd be a decent place, but for now I'd rather never see or hear about them ever again.

I went on a Thursday when the advertised free wings and their drinks specials. I’ve been before and the food was good ! What I didn’t appreciate was the bartender telling me that the wings were for “paying customers “ which I was had she given me a chance actually. I came in and got my wings to sit down and THEN order my tower w my friends. Before I could sit down she rudely told me they were only for paying customers. Which wasn’t advertised , does. purchase need to be made before getting wings idk ?? I would’ve spent more but her attitude was off putting. The other bartender was nicer and made up for the experience.
