We came early since we live two hours away. It was easy to park or you can use valet. The parking lot is hilly so if you are wearing heels, be careful or use valet. We checked in and were seated at our reservation time. If you are early, there is a bar and seating outside so you can wait in comfort. Our server and team could not have been more accommodating, explaining the menu and making suggestions. We were offered the sommelier after I tasted a wine that wasn’t quite what I wanted. The sommelier made several suggestions after asking a few questions to narrow down the choices. The wine menu is amazing and the wine I ended up choosing was perfect. We grazed through the free crackers and cheese spread and relish tray. I ordered one of the features which included the choice of sides: bacon wrapped filet and 4 shrimp and a small lobster tail on a skewer, loaded baked potato, French onion soup. We were offered free dessert because a very large party came in halfway through our dinner and was extremely loud. While the party was distracting at times, we never complained and thought it was a nice gesture to offer the dessert. Dessert was a blackberry cobbler served hot and I added whipped cream rather than ice cream. Portions were big and I ended up taking over half my potato and steak home. I will agree that I’ve had better meals with more attention to detail, but the experience of this steakhouse is worth it. Customer service is excellent and the wine list amazing.

What an amazing experience we had at the Chef’s Table downstairs at Angus Barn! My boyfriend surprised me for my birthday, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible, and the staff made the entire night even better. We loved being able to ask questions while Chef Rob cooked and explained each dish along the way. Michael the sommelier was so knowledgeable about every wine, and each pairing complemented the courses perfectly. Huge thank you as well to Drew and Joel for making the evening so enjoyable. Such a memorable experience from start to finish! Angus Barn has always been one of my go-to spots for special occasions, but the Chef’s Table was such a fun and unique experience. Highly recommend for a special night out!

What a great meal. Love the old time steakhouse vibe. This is a Raleigh classic you have to try. Bone-in ribeye was excellent and the free apps when you get seated is a great touch. I personally love a good twice baked potato and they perfect that here.. Great portion sizes... all around an awesome experience

Wanted to take my lady and family for a mother's day dinner. So decided to see if I could get reservations and yes, I got it. The place is really big with alot of outdoor lounging seats with a bar. There's also an upstairs bar as well. We were greeted by the kid greeter and was seated within minutes. We sat down and our waitress was amazing!!!!!! Aria was amazing and very helpful, she answered all our questions and even suggested her favorites which was very delicious. Everything we had was delicious and cooked just the way we wanted it. We all enjoyed our time and we will return.

I can't say enough about this place. It was my son's Birthday and we thought we would check this place out and go for dessert. It was our first time there and everyone treated us like we were VIP's. We were told that after we were done eating we could get a tour of the wine cellar. Our waiter Caylin was outstanding. He was very attentive and helped us pick out the best desserts. We had the blackberry cobbler and the chess pie but what we weren't expecting was he brought an entire pound cake to the table with candles. Since we didn't have a dinner there we really weren't expecting to get anything free but they went above and beyond and they also gave us a free appetizer of celery pickles olives and cheeses. The wine cellar tour was great and the woman who did that was so charming I wish I could remember her name. All I know is I can't remember the last time I had such outstanding customer service. We really felt like they rolled out the red carpet for us. We will definitely be back.
