Historic spot - well maintained, good use of old wood - even in the elevator. Rental space for your studio or business too

Nice venue for a wedding. Large, open, lots of natural lighting. Nice outdoor courtyard for cocktails. Staff was friendly. Wish the bar was set back instead of in the middle of the hall. Made is hard to see the reception activity. Nice that the bar was big and open all night. Oh, found out that you can't buy cigars at the property! Lol! We had a great time at the wedding reception at this hall. Worth checking out if u need a place to book!

The new Pay to Park situation is a bizarre cash grab. Been coming to this area for years. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to visit Rappahannock with family in town. I had not been to the parking lot in a few weeks, and didn't notice that they had started a new Pay to Park system. We were just chatting it up as we went in the restaurant and weren't paying attention to the signs. This was a Sunday, when the entire city is free to park, so I thought nothing of it. Well, $50 ticket later, and I found out real quick. Parking attendant was polite and told me to email the company the QR code, and they may rescind it. They did not. Bartender at Rappa said business has fallen off heavily since the parking fees started. Its just a hassle. Its like the management company wants to pick up every penny they can. Well, good luck to them. They won't be getting my money anymore. What happens to Cigar Factory when businesses go upside down because people don't want to pay $7/hour to visit them. I just don't understand the reasoning, other than greed.

It's ridiculous that they've decided to charge for parking in an area where there are no other options to park. Not only charge but at nearly 7 dollars an hour. Especially when there is a bar in factory, a would be drunk driver may end up attempting to drive home to avoid the high parking fees instead of taking an uber. A thinly veiled greedy cash grab tarnishing what is otherwise a wonderful experience at these businesses.
