More stuff than you can shake a stick at... and fantastic prices. Love the staff, always smiling and loving their job and helping customers.

I just experienced the rudest customer service here. I entered the store 5 minutes before closing, not noticing the hours of operation, but I only intended to grab one thing. The cashier literally shouted to the few of us in there that we had 3 minutes to get out. She said that her manager told her to lock the doors at 8:57 and if anyone was still in there by that time, she should ask them to leave without buying anything. Is this true? She acted like she was doing us a huge favor by ringing us up. The lady in front of me had some questions about prices and the cashier told her basically to take it or leave it. They went back and forth, and at one point, the customer jumped back from the counter because she felt threatened. As I was paying, the customer went back to check the price sign on the shelf, and the cashier told the other person working there, "She needs to GET OUT of this store RIGHT NOW, and I MEAN IT!" I cannot believe what I just saw. I want a response from management; are cashiers really getting penalized for not closing the store before 9 on the dot?! I am so disappointed in this situation. I go to this DG all the time and the day crew is super friendly, but this lady tonight was too stressed out to deal with customers. It was very uncomfortable for everyone involved.
Although smaller than the other newer dollar generals, I come here b/c of the cashiers. I wish I knew both day shift ladies names, but they are exactly what customer service should be. Kind and helpful. They are so friendly and always in a good mood. Raises for this store!!
Sat outside for an hour waiting for the door to be opened, nobody answerd the phone after calling a few times, watched multiple vehicles come and go and get irritated with the fact there was no sign or anything indicating a lunch break or if the registers were down. The lights and open sign were on and everything. Pretty rude to waste people's time if you're just trying to kill time on the clock to get paid .
I am from out of town and I have been going to different Dollar General stores, while here, in search of a regular item I use. However, I didn’t succeed in finding the item, but instead, I found this store to be in disarray. I had no desire to stay and shop. I fail to understand why so many stores are allowed to be kept this way.
