Stopped in here while on business. The owner was exceptionally attentive and personable. Their selection wasn’t large and they focus on their brand. However, I really enjoyed talking to the owner. I’m glad I didn’t see these reviews first. I haven’t tried the cigars yet, but the experience was really good. Also, I’m not reviewing the cigars so I do not feel it necessary to smoke them before writing the reviews. Prices were decent. I’m not sure what they normally run in Texas so the little bit extra in dollar amount might be normal. They’re in line with Jersey and New York. Still cheaper than California! I didn’t use the lounge because I didn’t have the time. I recommend stopping in if not only to talk to the owner about his brand! Thank you Marc!!!

I was visiting Austin and wanted a good smoke for me and a couple buddies. I saw a couple good reviews and thought I’d try this spot. I wasn’t happy to pay $15 for parking, but hoped it would turn out well. There was a very small selection, and the good cigars they had (opus x, pardon) were at least double the price you would pay anywhere else. So I’m out $15 and no cigars for me and my buddies. Don’t trust the other reviews. This place won’t last long with this selection and these prices.

I have been here before. Willingly paid $25 for a daily membership and purchased a dozen cigars. I enjoyed the lounge and the cigars. Now, they want $50 to use the lounge to smoke a cigar. If you are from out of town and only wish to use the lounge for one cigar. Avoid this place.

When I went into this place the guy got up from behind the counter and followed me to the humidor where he stood in the doorway staring at me, not chatting or anything just staring to make sure the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I left without buying anything after about 45 seconds. 🚮

Meh. Great selection but they are never available when my clients across the street need a good smoke. They really need to update their Google information so that people like me can stop wasting my time finding out they are not open when online info shows otherwise. Ill keep taking my regular business to Halcyon, its worth the longer walk.
