Visited from NC. This place has a 90s vibe and good music. I got the catfish, shrimp and grits with a bloody Mary. First let me tell you the food was delicious. The catfish was crunchy on the outside and tender inside. Everything melted together . The bloody Mary was mixed just right. It was perfect. And only $5.

I know this restaurant has been through a lot recently. Having their building burned down and having to lease a spot to continue business while the other building is being repaired. But, I'm sorry to say I'm highly disappointed in my first experience eating any of their food. I had a craving for homemade mac and cheese so I stopped by and ordered mac and cheese for $6. I got home which is across the street, and I took one bite and all I could feel was something stringy in my mouth! I thought maybe they had mixed collards with the mac and cheese, it had an odd flavor to it or something like that. No, it was just pasta that had gotten hard from sitting too long. Don't have a lot of money I'm on a fixed income, and to spend $6 on a very small tub of mac and cheese, is highly disappointing. I say maybe wait until the full restaurant opens before trying this restaurant for the first time. Wawa has better mac and cheese than this place.

Me my daughter mom and god daughter came here, we sat on the side without the hookahs because we had minors, it was a little on the small side and the waiter who was nothing short of amazing and played amazing music from his own playlist seemed to be the only one working both sides which slowed the process down. The food is very good but very overpriced!!! Atmosphere is nice but like I said a tad bit in the smaller side! The drinks are really good, and the happy hour is definitely worth it!

I got the brunch vegan wrap and it was seriously the best thing I’ve ever eaten! The sauce was so incredible I want to buy it in a bottle and use it on everything omg the veggies were so great and it was so filling. I got two mimosas with pineapple juice and they were great as well. Service was amazing too! Overall great flavor and great experience

Lowkey during the week! Great happy hour 4-8! Drinks were phenomenal! Cool staff! Weekends are turnt!👌🏾😂. Day drinking at its best! Really nice brunch on Sunday! Really cool posters for decor! I appreciate the purse hooks under the bar! Parking can be challenging but there are garages. So far I’ve found free street parking each time! No paper menus, barcodes are used.
