Used to only use this shop for vape supplies, but after the 3rd faulty raz bar and no returns or liability I feel robed and unsure of their shady secondhand suppliers and buisness practice. Don’t go here, they just want your money in exchange for knockoff stuff that dosnt work half the time and you’ll be stuck to foot the bill for their carelessness twards their customers.

* WARNING, MAKE SURE YOU DO THEIR JOB AND CHECK WHAT YOU BUY!!!! * I cannot believe the experience I had here. It’s laughable. Just save yourself time and second hand embarrassment by going to Carrytown Tobacco I go to buy a new piece on a Tuesday evening, about 20 minutes before they close. When everything is said and done, I purchase new piece, leave store with about 12 minutes til close, and head home. When getting home, the piece i had was broken, with a piece of glass missing, clean cut off the stem of it. The woman who bagged my piece wrapped it about 3 times in bubble wrap, and i requested a bag to secure it on the way home. Immediately upon realizing this, I call the store, with about 8 minutes left til close for them. The same woman says something along the lines of there are no refunds, and she will need to Facetime a person to ask on it, and that I would be getting a call back that night. By the end of call I am no longer getting a call back, and instead I need to bring it in tomorrow to be looked at, reminding me again of no refunds. My wife goes in with receipt, same piece, all bubble wrap, etc. The woman who is working examines the piece. She sees the broken piece and tells my wife that all pieces are examined before going on the shelf. She then asks my wife why we didn’t look at it closer in store. Laughable. I didn’t know we had to examine something to check if it’s broken before buying. Especially with large black locks on the piece, basically covering the broken glass. Potentially put there to hide the broken glass? The woman then says if it just needs another stem, we can buy another one. LOL. Why do we need to buy something if it came broken? How am i driving so erratically that something that is bubble wrapped 3 times and in a bag secured on the seat of a car can possibly break, not to mention living about 5 min away. How can I possibly clean cut the stem of the piece so that a moon shaped glass piece is missing but everything else is intact and perfect? She ends up giving us the cheapest stem she can find that fits the piece, potentially not working for it at all. I’m assuming this was done to just get us out. Laughable experience, just remember to check out what you buy before cause they don’t do quality control it seems!! Like I said , Carytown Tobacco isn’t a sketchy place and respects people, go there!

I'm a regular customer. Been stopping in more-or-less weekly for about a year now, usually picking up a tin of Cohiba Miniatures (which are increasingly hard to find). Staff is always pleasant! As noted in another review, they have an excellent selection given the size of the walk-in humidor. Good selection of pipe tobacco (I don't smoke a pipe - but it appears to be a good selection). I also pick up screens, occasional smokeless devices, incense ... Great little shop that packs a lot into the available square footage.

Great place. The people are very nice and the prices are fair. All around great place to do business.

Love their selection. Hands down my favorite Westend cigar shop. Great prices, great service, great selection. I have nothing but great things to say about this shop. If I lived closer, I'd shop there more often.
