I wanted to reach out and express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service I received during my second visit to your establishment. Although a family meal to-go is not typically offered on your menu, the owners went out of their way during a very busy weekend to put together an absolutely outstanding meal for my family. Additionally, I was incredibly impressed by the staff. They were super kind, greeted me warmly, and even went above and beyond by bringing the trays of food directly to my car. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience.

I have been a loyal customer of this place for about 10 years. I have not been going, because it had been so crazy. The service had always been slow. But all the good quality servers have been ran off. I have had many issue's with one of the male servers. John has always had an attitude and been disrespectful. The manager had never been rude or disrespectful to my face but i have over heard some talks in the oast. but this server had alwasy been rude. The issies eas never address to the server. Ibhave spoken about it to them a I was told we will handle it. And never did. He still gives me stank face and attitude when he see me or sny of my friends group. I use to go a couple times a week. (Use to be my crews hangout spot.) always spends money. Even supposed them when covid hit by renting hookahs even tho I had them at home. And buying to-go tobacco. The Quilty of the place had went down. I have been forced to drink sodas or forced to buy a bottle of water. When I ask for a glass of water with lemon. ( im a diabetic and I stay away from soda.) The food has always been decent not great but decent. I go for the hookah karaoke and trivia night. The trivia host is always fun, chill, and respectful. Im so disappointed in how they have went down in quality and customer service. I went back the other night after not going in months. Not even a hello or hey. My server was decent im low maintenance when it comes to my service give me my water and hookah and or food. And I will let you know if I need anything. There was one time I went that I didnt even get checked on for 3 hours by server John. I had to flag down another server that was not even clocked in to work yet. But she took care of me. And I asked if I can be transferred to her section and my original server was pissed. Cuz he would not get the tip. Mind u I cashed out my ticket with him tipped also. Not much but $5 on a $25 hookah. And when I moved to her section she took care of me still I didnt order anything else but I did tip her for being on some great customer service. I dont know how he still has a job there. But if your friends or family to the owner or managers you get away with things. I have always chose sahars over any other hookah place in jax becuase the flavors are great (made in house). The prices for hookahs was decent and with discounts on Tuesdays and happy hours. And the chicken volcano melt alwasy hit the spot and feeds with leftovers. I wish they could get back to how it use to be. And work on service.

I’ve been a regular at Saharas for karaoke nights and have always supported the business. While the food has been average, I kept coming back because I enjoyed the atmosphere and never had any issues—until now. During my most recent visit, my friend simply asked for tap water instead of bottled water, and that seemed to immediately become a problem. From there, the situation escalated in a way that felt completely unnecessary. I was told to pay for my drink but was not even allowed to finish it, and we were asked to leave on the spot. There was no escalation, no disrespect on our part, and no real attempt to communicate—just a sudden decision to remove us and tell me I was banned. As someone who has been a consistent, respectful customer, this experience was not only embarrassing but deeply hurtful. The way the situation was handled made me feel singled out, and I can’t ignore that it felt like racial profiling. That’s a serious concern, and it left a lasting impression on me. I am asking for accountability here. I would appreciate a sincere apology and for management to contact me directly to address what happened. No loyal customer should be treated this way without explanation or an opportunity for respectful dialogue.

I had the pleasure of coming across this local gem while in Jacksonville! If you are looking for amazing Mediterranean Food, fantastic Staff and your favorite Hookah flavors look no further!!!! The amount of food for your money is great but the fact that everything is cooked and seasoned to perfection is what we all LOVE! Full bar to go along with your Hookah experience or to pair with your favorite meal. The lamb was my absolute favorite! Well done

This place is just another VIBE, once you come inside are always similar faces, people studying, doing arts, or even playing cards while smoking. The music is chill and isn't a crazy loud bar, it's a peaceful nice place to hang out. I love coming there, having a seat at the bar, and asking them to create a drink for me. They ALWAYS make me happy with the creation of drinks, they are super nice. I become friends with this Brazilian girl who works there, and she is awesome with the customers too. The Mediterranean food is AMAZING as well. Me and my husband I love to come to this bar and we say, this is our favorite spot in town.
