This was my first visit to Old Virginia Tobacco Co., and it was well worth the stop. The shop is impressive—rather than a walk-in humidor, it’s a large room lined wall-to-wall with cigar cases showcasing a wide variety of brands, including many of my favorites. In addition to cigars, they also carry a large assortment of accessories such as cutters, lighters, and pipes, making it a one-stop shop for enthusiasts. Upstairs, there’s a spacious smoking lounge with plenty of comfortable chairs and a relaxed, quiet vibe. It’s a great spot to enjoy your cigar. Just note: there’s no alcohol service—they do offer water, and if you’d like a drink with your smoke, there’s a bar conveniently located across the street. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in, which made the experience even better. Overall, for a first-time stop, this shop impressed me. If you’re in Alexandria and want a quality cigar experience with both great selection and accessories, this is one of the best places to go.

Great vibes and a big cigar selection. The host had great customer service. Step outside the front door to see some awesome views. This would be my home lounge if I lived in Virginia.

Tobacco to me is a religion. I have been to many cigar lounges around the world. This has become the best cigar lounge in the greater DC area, typical of OVTC excellence. Relatively new, very comfortable seats, excellent service, a wide variety of regular and rare cigars. (I've got some short and sweet cigar unboxing videos (for fun, not money!) with my lovely wife taste testing, check out CuisineQuest on youtube, cigar unboxing playlist, lemme know what u think, no regrets!!)

Cigar selection is solid but the staff is not welcoming. I interacted with two different gentleman, both were very short and gave off energy that I was inconveniencing them.

Good selection but I definitely felt like I was an inconvenience to the workers there. Cold and silent treatment. So far worst B&M service I've had.
