This place is a very unique and interesting spot. Here you will find ghost tours, (which we opted out of this time around) A great atmosphere, great service, Great drinks and great food! The only downside is it is a cigar bar, so if you are a non-smoker and you want to eat without being smoked out, this is not the place for you. It is less Smokey when it is less busy of course. We had dinner on Valentine's Day and it was amazing! The only downside to the dinner was it ran from 6:30 p.m. And us not getting out of there until 10:00 p.m.. apparently the kitchen staff was very behind and that really sucked due to the fact that we were in a cigar bar and it was very Smokey as the place was very packed, and what do people do when they are waiting light up their cigars or cigarettes 🙄 The meal itself was absolutely exquisite. I would have loved a bigger piece of beef wellington for the price And the time it took for the entire meal to come out though... It was$250 for a meal for two for Valentine's Day, gratuity not included, they decided what the gratuity would have been for your meal plus what you have also drank waiting for your meal that whole 4 hours. So please do keep that in mind that you are running a tab as well as paying for your service that was not included in your $250 meal. So come prepared with a full wallet! This also was a 1920 themed dinner so that was pretty awesome as well. Seeing everybody dressed up and getting dressed up was really fun! This place is definitely a must go to if you are into ghost touring and old gangsters 😎 as well as into a very delicious meal with tasty drinks! Next time we do go we will be taking one of the ghost tours...

If you can handle a little smoke - brave this establishment. From the private tour, to the crafted beverages, not to mention the decor, and topped off with incredible staff - you don't just get a drink, you get an experience. Britney (hope I spelled that right) was an amazing drink craftess. Everything here is exquisite.

Mostly every bartender was ok but the guy at the bar on the lower level. He reminded me of Johnny Depp (respectfully)because I don’t know his name. He was extremely rude. I initially ignored him. But by the end of the night I had to tell him how rude he was. I ended up having a whole argument with him. I can tell no one has ever corrected him about his behavior. He acted as if I was in the wrong when I’m very nice to people and once I’m treated less than I’ll definitely correct you , once you push me to that place. I’m not sure why they hired someone with such an ignorant attitude to be a bartender. I will never go back there. I can spend my money elsewhere. People need to learn how to be nice because you never know how much of a tip I was going to give. I’m very generous! I’m known for giving good tips. $50 or better because I know how expensive it is out here. And I’m fortunate to be able to give it. I’m all about blessing people. This one person caused me to never give this establishment another dollar. And he made it seem like I was the problem. But I don’t care. I’ll spend my money elsewhere. It’s a big world out here I never need to go to this place again.

I start visiting Shakers back on March 2013, Its by far the most atmospheric cigar bar ( with carnegie in NY) that you can enjoy a stogie. The Jazzy , Ghosty, smoky atmosphere combined with the great personnel, Shakers always had and still has , makes it a Top Notch destination. Amazing pizza 🍕😋.
